Computacenter in Lincoln is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support across a busy customer environment. You will resolve incidents, fulfill service requests, and ensure users receive a responsive, high-quality support experience.

Location: Lincoln (onsite full time). The role involves incident handling, 2nd line responsibilities, project support, and proactive problem solving for laptops, desktops, printers, and network issues.

Formación

• Windows 10/11 proficiency with registry settings.
• Experience with LTSC Channels and KIOSK is desirable.
• Basic understanding of SCCM/Active Directory and ITSM concepts.
• Networking including LAN/WAN/VLAN, VPN, DHCP/DNS.
• Excellent customer interface and communication skills.
• SC clearance or ability to obtain clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Handle incidents and service requests, with 2nd line responsibility.
• Resolve incidents to SLA targets and maintain low monthly incident rate.
• Complete assigned work within set timeframes.
• Support internal and external Project Managers on tasks.
• Coordinate with Level 3 teams for major issues.
• Troubleshoot laptop/desktop hardware, network, and printers.
• Install and configure software and hardware.
