Job summary

Computacenter is seeking an Onsite Desktop Support Engineer to provide hands-on IT support in Plymouth. You will resolve incidents, fulfill service requests and ensure users receive a responsive, high-quality support experience in a busy customer environment.

You’ll work on 2nd line incident resolution, hardware and software installs, and coordinate with Level 3 teams to keep SLA targets. A UK driving license and SC clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting Windows 10/11 and Office 365.
• Experience with ITSM tooling such as ServiceNow.
• 2nd line support experience and incident resolution to SLA.
• Good written and verbal customer communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake incident and request tasks.
• Provide 2nd line resolution for incidents per SLA.
• Maintain a <2% incident per month target.
• Complete assigned work within agreed timescales.
• Undertake project tasks with internal/external PMs.
• Handle non-standard requests within timescales.
• Coordinate with Level 3 teams for major issues.
• Resolve hardware, software, printers and network issues.
