Job summary

Computacenter is seeking an Onsite Desktop Support Engineer in Plymouth to provide hands-on technical support across a busy customer environment. You will resolve incidents, fulfill service requests, and ensure users receive a responsive, high-quality experience.

The role requires strong Windows 10/11 knowledge, ITSM familiarity, and a customer-focused mindset, with UK driving license and SC clearance. You will handle 2nd line incidents, coordinate with Level 3 teams, and install and configure

Qualifications

• Proficient in Windows 10/11 build, config and registry settings.
• Experience with LTSC Channels and KIOSK is desirable.
• Basic understanding of SCCM/Active Directory and IT service models.

Responsibilities

• Handle incident and request tasks.
• 2nd line responsibility for resolving incidents to SLA.
• Maintain a low monthly incident rate (<2%).
• Complete assigned works within allocated timeframes.
• Support Project Managers on tasks and timelines.
• Address non-standard requests within agreed timescales.
• Coordinate with Level 3 teams on major issues.
• Troubleshoot laptop/desktop hardware, networks, printers, etc.
• Install and configure software and hardware.
