Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support across a busy customer environment in Northallerton. This onsite role focuses on incident resolution, service requests, and delivering a responsive, high-quality user experience.

You will take 2nd line responsibility for resolving incidents to SLA, install and configure software/hardware, and coordinate with Level 3 teams to drive major issues to resolution.

Qualifications

• Windows 10/11: build, configuration and registry settings.
• LTSC Channels and KIOSK experience desirable.
• ITSM software experience preferred (ServiceNow).

Responsibilities

• Handle incidents and service requests to SLA targets.
• Provide 2nd line support and coordinate with Level 3 teams.
• Install and configure software and hardware on desktops and laptops.
• Proactively communicate status and resolve hardware/network issues.
• Work onsite in Northallerton and support busy customer environment.
