Job summary

Asda in Norwich is seeking an Online Manager to lead the day-to-day online operation within-store, ensuring teams stay engaged and customers remain satisfied. You will be responsible for coordinating online logistics, staffing, and performance metrics to maintain high service levels.

The role requires prior experience in online retail leadership, strong organizational and communication skills, and flexibility to work days and weekends to support the online trading agenda.

Qualifications

• Experience as Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager in a complex Online retail environment.
• Operational knowledge of online retail operations.
• Knowledge of improving availability, picking rate, reducing waste and shrink.
• Experience developing teams and managing change through leadership and building resilience.
• Strong organisational skills and great customer service.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day online operation in-store, ensuring vans are on the road and customers are happy.
• Own the online shrink agenda with structured processes and data-led decisions; validate picker and driver resources through effective rota planning.
• Drive accuracy in online picking to guarantee consistent performance across the online operation.
