Job summary

Sainsbury's in the United Kingdom is seeking a Lead Online Manager to drive the online delivery operation across a busy store. You will lead a small team of managers, ensuring every order is fulfilled on time and to the highest standard.

You’ll review data, monitor KPIs, coach your team, and plan for key trading events with the store leadership group, while owning overnight shifts and maintaining exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Proven track record delivering and improving KPIs across complex operations.
• Experience managing sensitive people matters with fairness and sound judgment.
• Leadership experience in an operational environment where you own departmental performance.

Responsibilities

• Direct a small team of managers to deliver the online delivery operation of the supermarket taking accountability for every delivery going out on time, every time, so our customers get exactly what they need, when they expect it.
• Review data and ensure compliance to processes and procedures.
• Plan for upcoming key trading activities by working with store leadership.
• Oversee overnight store operations and coach for high standards and efficiency.
• People management including scheduling, training and employee relations activities.
