Job summary

Sainsbury's is looking for a Lead Online Manager to direct the online delivery operation from our store. You will oversee a small team of managers and ensure every order is fulfilled on time and to standard.

The role requires data-driven leadership, strong KPI management, and the ability to plan for trading events. You will coach leaders, manage performance, and own overnight processes to deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Proven ability to improve KPIs such as availability, delivery performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Experience managing performance, absence and employee relations with fairness.
• Leadership in an operational retail or hospitality setting with ownership of departmental outcomes.
• Evidence of leading change and embedding new ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Direct a small team of managers to deliver online delivery operations and ensure on-time, accurate deliveries.
• Review data and KPIs to ensure compliance with processes and drive efficiency.
• Plan for key trading activities and coordinate with store leadership.
• Overnight store accountability, modelling high standards and coaching the team.
• Manage pay, scheduling, training, and employee relations activities.
