Job summary

Sainsbury’s is seeking an Online Assistant to support our online customers by picking the best products, handling substitutions when needed, and processing orders for doorstep delivery.

You will use a handheld route planner, work early mornings in a fast-paced store, and help with loading vans. We offer comprehensive training, a friendly team, and opportunities to learn across store operations.

Qualifications

• You must be above the school-leaver age in your country (GOV.UK guidance).
• If shifts start before 6am or after 11pm, you must be at least 18 years old.
• You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing products for online orders and substitutions when out of stock.
• Using a handheld device to plan routes and manage pick times.
• Processing orders and helping load vans for Home Delivery Drivers.
• Assisting customers, answering queries and providing product recommendations.
• Building knowledge of products, services and promotions to help customers.
• Working flexibly across the store as required.
