Job summary

SENse Learning seeks an Intervention Tutor to support SEND and SEMH learners with bespoke 1-1 sessions in person, online, or hybrid. You will build trust, apply trauma-informed approaches, and tailor tutoring to each pupil’s needs and risk assessments.

This self-employed role offers flexible hours and competitive pay, with a supportive team engaged in improving outcomes for every student.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS and two professional references.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with diverse needs.
• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid support to learners with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Plan and report lessons with regular progress feedback.
