Job Description:

We’re looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team at One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco. As a Customer Service Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment, providing excellent customer service, stocking shelves, processing payments, and maintaining the store’s appearance. Your role is vital in ensuring smooth store operations and a welcoming atmosphere for customers.

You will be responsible for:

1. Serving customers with passion and pride, encouraging feedback through surveys.
2. Working across all store areas, including online, tills, replenishment, vending, and stock routines.
3. Following safety protocols and participating in seasonal, community, and charity events.
4. Understanding store performance and contributing to profit goals.
5. Living our values, making everyone feel welcome, and adhering to policies.
6. Clocking in and out accurately, following security procedures, and wearing safety equipment.
7. Following age-restriction policies and responding promptly to assistance calls.
8. Maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
9. Potentially managing shifts in absence of supervisors.
10. If applicable, managing Post Office operations, including passing background checks.
