We’re looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team at One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco. As a Customer Service Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment where no day is the same. You will play an important role in the store's daily operations by providing excellent customer service, stocking shelves, processing payments, and maintaining the store’s appearance.

The role focuses on putting the customer at the heart of everything we do, constantly seeking ways to improve service through on-the-job coaching and feedback. You will help ensure the store remains a safe place to work and shop.

Responsibilities include:

• Serving customers with passion and pride, encouraging feedback via surveys.
• Working across all store areas including online, tills, replenishment, vending, and stock routines.
• Practicing safety in all tasks, participating in seasonal, community, and charity events.
• Understanding store performance and contributing to profit.
• Living our values and following policies to create an inclusive atmosphere.
• Ensuring accurate clocking in/out for pay.
• Following security procedures and safety equipment protocols.
• Adhering to the 'think 25' policy for age-restricted products.
• Responding to assistance calls and maintaining store cleanliness.
• Potentially managing shifts in the absence of supervisors.
• Following training to ensure safety and legal compliance.
• If applicable, operating the Post Office, including background checks.
