Job summary

Gattaca is seeking an IT Support professional to deploy and support end-user hardware and software on-site in the Devon region. You will install operating systems, assist with hardware procurement, and work within ITSM processes to maintain service levels.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, user interaction, and compliance with data protection and security policies. Ideal candidates have a minimum of 2 years in hands-on IT support, a CompTIA A+ certification, and strong knowledge of Windows OS

Qualifications

• Associate degree or high school diploma is required.
• CompTIA A+ certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on IT support experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows OS and Office suites.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support end-user hardware (PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers).
• Install and support operating systems and productivity software.
• Adhere to ITSM processes (asset, change, incident, request, problem, project) to meet service levels.
• Provide on-site IT support and assist in resolving broader technical issues.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and long-term problem management.
• Serve as a key contact between IT and users, promoting standards and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with policies on ethics, data protection, information security, and HR.
