Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking an IT Analyst on a contract basis to provide hands-on IT support to end users across hardware, OS and productivity software. The role covers deployment, configuration, maintenance and site-based IT system support, following ITSM processes to meet SLAs.

The ideal candidate has experience in IT support or service desk environments, strong hardware deployment knowledge, and a focus on security and compliance in a busy technology environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support/service desk environments.
• Strong knowledge of hardware deployment, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of client operating systems, mobile devices, printing and productivity software.
• Knowledge of IT Service Management processes and service level agreements.
• Ability to investigate technical issues and contribute to root cause analysis.
• Strong communication skills with end users and IT teams.
• Commitment to information security, data protection and compliance policies.
• Organised and able to manage competing priorities in a busy tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and support IT hardware including PCs, laptops and printers.
• Install, maintain and support client operating systems and productivity software.
• Provide IT support to end users and assist with site-based IT systems.
• Follow ITSM processes including asset, change, incident, request, problem and project management.
• Respond to IT incidents and service requests while supporting SLAs.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving larger IT issues.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and problem management.
• Promote IT standards and best practices to improve user satisfaction.
