Job summary

Gattaca is seeking an IT Analyst on a contract basis to provide hands-on IT support to end users across hardware, OS and productivity software. You will deploy, configure and maintain PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers and other IT hardware, ensuring standards are followed.

You will follow ITSM processes, manage assets, changes, incidents, requests and problems, respond to service requests, contribute to root cause analysis and help maintain secure, reliable IT operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support, service desk or IT analyst environments.
• Strong knowledge of hardware deployment, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of client operating systems, mobility, printing and productivity software.
• Knowledge of ITSM processes and SLAs.
• Ability to investigate issues and contribute to root cause analysis.
• Strong communication skills with IT teams and end users.
• Commitment to information security and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and support PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers and other IT hardware.
• Install, maintain and support client operating systems and productivity software.
• Provide IT support to end users and assist with site-based IT systems.
• Follow IT Service Management (ITSM) processes including asset, change, incident, request, problem and project management.
• Respond to IT incidents and service requests while supporting SLAs.
• Participate in troubleshooting and the resolution of IT issues.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and problem management activities.
• Promote IT standards, policies and best practice to improve user satisfaction.
