On-Site IT Support Engineer – Crewe, Rapid Incident Response

Capgemini is seeking a proactive IT support engineer to be the first point of contact for customers at Crewe. This is an on‑site role, five days a week (06:00–21:00), with no hybrid option, focused on rapid incident resolution and proactive service delivery.

You will run floor walks, maintain spare equipment, coordinate with customers and maintenance teams, and resolve incidents via Service Now, InTune and SCCM.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and technical teams.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure in a busy environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking with a practical approach.

Responsabilités

• Undertake regular floor walking and proactive IT support on site.
• Maintain stock of spare equipment for rapid deployment and issue resolution.
• Liaise with customers to ensure smooth communication and timely resolutions.
• Resolve incidents and service requests to SLA using Service Now, InTune and SCCM.
• Create knowledge base articles for repeatable issues.
• Represent Capgemini in daily/weekly meetings with Production and Maintenance teams.
• Be part of out-of-hours on-call rota for Crewe site.
