Job summary

IMT Resourcing Solutions Ltd is seeking an IT Services Engineer to join the Cheltenham on-site IT Services team. You will provide 1st and 2nd line support across hardware, software, networks and IT services for on-site and remote users.

The role focuses on maintaining reliable IT services, resolving technical issues, and delivering responsive support to users across multiple sites in the Cheltenham area.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an IT support role with service desk exposure.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software and networks.
• Experience delivering 1st/2nd line technical support.
• Good knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office environments.
• Ability to prioritise workloads under pressure.
• Team player with proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support across multiple sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network issues.
• Install, configure and support IT hardware, software and devices.
• Support Windows desktop environments and Microsoft Office.
• Provide support for wireless networks, internet access and telephony.
• Assist with user access, file services and business applications.
• Set up and support audio-visual equipment for meetings, events and presentations.
• Provide support for printing and wider technology across the organisation.
• Monitor IT systems and respond to issues proactively.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and asset records.
• Assist with IT equipment procurement and related activities.
• Support the wider IT team with infrastructure maintenance and development.
• Escalate more complex technical issues where required.
• Provide occasional out-of-hours support when necessary, with time off in lieu provided
