Job summary

Ingram Micro is seeking a Field Network Engineer to join our Technical Services team. The role combines field-based and remote technical support, installing and supporting network devices, PCs and servers, and handling on-site visits across the UK.

You will troubleshoot, perform site surveys, and assist with customer changes and rollouts while maintaining excellent customer service and communication. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Cisco, Draytek, Zyxel and Netgear routers.
• Experience with Aruba and HP switches.
• 1st/2nd line Server/PC hardware break-fix support.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience providing network and PC/Server field engineering services to high-profile customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
• Install and support network devices, PCs and servers.
• Troubleshoot remotely and on-site.
• Pre-stage router and switch installations per documentation.
• Support customer adds, moves, changes and rollouts; document site surveys.
• Post-sales support and site visits to swap non-functional equipment.
• On-call duties not more than 1 week in 3.
