Job summary

GLORY is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to support and maintain customer technology across a large territory. This hands-on role covers electro-mechanical repair, Windows-based diagnostics, and basic networking to keep sites operating reliably.

Field-based work with a company vehicle and full training provided. A valid UK driving licence is required to service Knutsford and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Proven field service experience in a customer environment.
• Strong fault-finding ability across electro-mechanical systems.
• Confident using a Windows laptop for diagnostics and reporting.
• Networking competence: LAN/Ethernet, IP addressing, basic checks.

Responsibilities

• Undertake planned maintenance, installations/upgrades, and priority attendance when issues arise.
• Diagnose faults using structured approach from symptoms to root cause.
• Use a Windows laptop to review logs, updates, configuration and document actions.
• Perform network connectivity tasks to access device interfaces and verify communications.
• Repair and maintain electro-mechanical modules, sensors, motors and power components.
