Qualifications

• Social Work Degree and current registration with Social Work England.
• 5+ years post-qualifying experience preferred; ASYE considered.
• Practice Educator qualification is highly desirable.
• Experience in adult social care; mental health experience preferred.
• Ability to use initiative on sensitive customer scenarios.
• Able to build rapport and trust with colleagues.
• Willingness to travel to different locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess customers and develop support plans, referring to local authorities when needed.
• Assess needs including affordability; recommend action to support customers.
• Signpost to relevant support packages and resources.
• Carry out follow-ups to progress cases to resolution.
• Collaborate with other agencies and make referrals when appropriate.
• Keep up-to-date with best practices and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide ongoing dynamic support to energy specialists.
