Job summary

Octopus Energy is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our on-site team across multiple offices, including Leicester. You will support customers and colleagues with empathy in a fast-paced environment and deliver assessments and support plans as needed.

We require a Social Work Degree with current registration and an ASYE, with Driver’s license and willingness to travel between offices considered advantageous. You will work with diverse teams to ensure safeguarding and effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• Social Work Degree with current registration is required.
• ASYE (or equivalent) experience preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Driver with access to a car and willingness to travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop support plans for diverse customers.
• Refer to local authorities when appropriate while safeguarding concerns are recognised.
• Signpost customers to available support packages and follow up to resolution.
• Collaborate with other agencies to make appropriate referrals and stay updated on best practices.
