Job summary

Envisage Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Document Controller for a major regeneration project in Luton. You will be on-site, managing the project’s document control and information management processes to ensure timely, accurate delivery.

The role requires high organisation, detail-orientation and the ability to work with cross-disciplinary teams on a Tier 1-style project, with a long-term 3+ year horizon and a salary of £40k-£48k.

Qualifications

• Experience as Document Controller in large-scale construction.
• Experience with CDE/EDMS and complex project documentation.
• Familiarity with ISO 19650 principles and BIM information.
• Strong MS Office and PDF/document workflows.
• Ability to manage high volume info on site-based project.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project's CDE/EDMS and document distribution.
• Register, review, issue, and archive drawings and specs.
• Maintain document registers, revisions, and transmittals.
• Monitor workflows and deadlines; produce status reports.
• Support audits and handover preparation.
• Liaise with Site Managers, Engineers, Designers, Subcontractors to ensure flow.
