Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is hiring a Hire Controller to maintain high-quality customer service, coordinate equipment and service requests, and drive upsell opportunities. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role based with major customers, coordinating with sites, suppliers and depots.

You will build relationships, monitor equipment utilization, maintain documentation and support onboarding activities, while prioritising health & safety and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Customer Service role.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong IT literacy and proficiency with MS Office.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, highly operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate equipment and service requests to meet project demands.
• Act as the primary contact between the customer and operations teams.
• Identify upselling opportunities while delivering best-in-class service.
• Maintain accurate site documentation and ensure health and safety compliance.
