Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a Hire Controller to join our Customer Service team. You will build relationships with customers, answer inquiries by phone, email, and through website requests, and manage orders from enquiry to post-hire feedback.

You’ll work on-site at a major customer's office, delivering best-in-class service, using product knowledge to maximize upselling opportunities, and helping customers do it better. Strong communication and initiative are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Customer Service role.
• Experience handling inbound order/sales enquiries and completing transactions.
• Ability to develop and utilise product knowledge to upsell.
• Exceptional communication, negotiating and influencing skills.
• Comfortable using own judgment and initiative within company policies.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer enquiries via telephone, email, and website requests.
• Manage an order from enquiry to post-hire feedback and build customer relationships.
• Identify and maximise upselling opportunities during the customer journey.
• Work on-site at a major customer's office delivering best-in-class service.
• Maintain accuracy while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
