Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is looking for a Hire Controller to join our customer service team in Livingston. You will manage orders from enquiry to post-hire feedback, delivering a best-in-class service and upselling where appropriate.

You will use your communication and product knowledge to build lasting relationships with customers and internal teams, in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment with opportunities to grow and develop within a FTSE100 company.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Customer Service role, preferably handling in-bound order/sales enquiries.
• Experience in hire or construction industry advantageous but not essential.
• Experience developing and utilising product knowledge.
• Exceptional communication skills including negotiating and influencing.
• Ability to engage and build relationships with internal and external customers.
• Judgement and initiative to make decisions in line with policies and pricing.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration across departments.
• Flexible, accurate and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
• Good level of computer literacy, especially MS Office.

Responsibilities
