Job summary

Growthnext Stepsat is seeking an Offsite Standardisation Manager with an electrical/mechanical bias to lead the development and deployment of standardised offsite products across our UK projects.

You will collaborate with design, estimating, and project delivery teams, drive DFMA and BIM integration (Revit libraries), and ensure on-site delivery aligns with the product roadmap.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in mechanical and electrical building services projects.
• Background in offsite manufacturing, DFMA, or standardisation within construction/MEP.
• Strong communication and proven ability to drive change with stakeholders.
• Experience with BIM processes and digital engineering (Revit libraries, data structures).
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, costing, and programme impacts.
• Experience in developing repeatable products or standard solutions.

Responsibilities

• Health and safety leadership across all activities.
• Develop and improve standardised offsite products with project teams.
• Align product roadmaps with business strategy and sector needs.
• Collaborate with designers to embed standardised products in designs.
• Promote DFMA principles in design and manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate with BIM to maintain standardised products in Revit library.
• Ensure standardised products are included in tender solutions and cost models.
• Support projects in adopting standardised products and removing barriers.
• Capture learnings and expand the product suite.
• Monitor industry trends and new technologies to enhance offerings.
• Engage stakeholders to support product development and adoption.
• Serve as central point of contact for offsite standardisation challenges.
