Job summary

Growthnext Stepsat in Leeds is seeking an Offsite Standardisation Manager with an electrical/mechanical bias to lead the development, implementation, and adoption of standardised offsite products across the business.

You will collaborate with central technical, offsite manufacturing, design, estimating, and project delivery teams to embed standardized solutions in designs and ensure on-site delivery aligns with DFMA principles and BIM processes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in mechanical/electrical building services projects.
• Experience with offsite manufacturing, DFMA, or standardisation in construction/MEP.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to drive change and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Health and Safety Leadership: champion a safety-first culture.
• Product Development: identify and improve standardised offsite products with project teams.
• Strategic Alignment: ensure products align with business strategy and sector needs with a clear roadmap.
• Design Collaboration: work with designers to embed standardised products in designs.
• Innovative Thinking: promote DFMA principles in design approaches.
• BIM Coordination: maintain standardised products in Revit library with BIM team.
• Tender Solutions: ensure standardised products are included in tender solutions and cost models.
• Project Support: assist teams in adopting standardised products and tackle implementation barriers.
• Feedback Loop: capture learnings and expand the product suite.
• Market Awareness: monitor industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Stakeholder Engagement: build strong relationships to support development and adoption.
