Job summary

Growthnext Stepsat is seeking an Offsite Standardisation Manager with an electrical/mechanical bias to lead the development, implementation and adoption of standardised offsite products across the business. You will collaborate with technical, offsite manufacturing, design, estimating and project delivery to embed these solutions in designs and ensure they are delivered on site.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in mechanical/electrical building services projects.
• Background in offsite manufacturing, DFMA, or standardisation within construction/MEP.
• Strong communication skills with ability to drive change and influence stakeholders.
• Experience with BIM processes and digital engineering (Revit libraries, data structures).
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, costing, and programme impacts.
• Experience in developing repeatable products or standard solutions.

Responsibilities

• Health and Safety Leadership: Champion a safety-first culture in all activities.
• Product Development: Identify and continuously improve standardised offsite products in collaboration with project teams.
• Strategic Alignment: Ensure products align with business strategy and sector needs, establishing a structured product roadmap.
• Design Collaboration: Work with internal and external designers to incorporate standardised products into designs.
• Innovative Thinking: Promote design for manufacture and assembly (DFMA) principles.
• BIM Coordination: Maintain standardised products within the Revit library.
• Tender Solutions: Include standardised products in tender solutions and cost models.
• Project Support: Help project teams adopt standardised products and overcome barriers to implementation.
• Feedback Loop: Capture learnings and expand the product suite.
• Market Awareness: Monitor industry trends and technologies to enhance offerings.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships to support product development and adoption.
• Central Contact: Facilitate communication and resolve challenges around offsite standardisation.
