Job summary

Growthnext Stepsat is seeking an Offsite Standardisation Manager with a mechanical/electrical bias to drive standardised offsite solutions. You will lead development, implementation and adoption across the business, collaborating with technical, manufacturing, design, estimating and delivery teams.

You will shape product roadmaps, champion DFMA, and work with designers and BIM specialists to embed standardised products into designs and on-site delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in mechanical/electrical building services projects.
• Background in offsite manufacturing, DFMA, or standardisation within construction/MEP.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to drive change and influence stakeholders.
• Experience with BIM processes and digital engineering (Revit libraries, data structures).
• Understanding of construction methodologies, costing, and programme impacts.
• Experience in developing repeatable products or standard solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead health and safety across activities and foster a safety-first culture.
• Develop and continuously improve standardised offsite products with project teams.
• Create and maintain a structured product roadmap aligned to business strategy.
• Collaborate with designers to embed standardised products into designs.
• Promote DFMA principles and innovative design approaches.
• Coordinate with the BIM team to keep Revit libraries updated.
• Ensure standardised products are included in tender solutions and cost models.
• Support project teams in adopting standardised products and removing barriers.
