We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established social-housing contractor with deep expertise in responsive maintenance, void refurbishment, and planned cyclical works. This company is trusted by housing associations and local authorities across the region and prides itself on delivering high-quality, cost-effective building services.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual that has experience within social housing - ideally working for a maintenance / refurbishment contractor, that's held an office support role or similar. But, seeking to take a step into managing a team of administrators.

About the Role

Your primary responsibility will be to lead, supervise, and motivate the team of maintenance administrators. Assigning daily tasks and ensuring work is completed on time. Dealing with clients, subcontractors and internal management staff.

The successful candidate will have knowledge / experience of Schedule of Rates (SOR), and previous experience within social housing / working for a maintenance contractor.

Person Specification - What We're Looking For
  • Previous office experience within social housing / maintenance. With an admin, planner / scheduler or coordinator background.
  • Schedule of Rates (SOR) knowledge / experience.
  • Excellent organisational, team management and positive leadership skills.
  • Good communication skills. Able to liaise with clients, tradespeople, and internal management.
  • Competency in using basic IT / digital tools (scheduling, reporting, Microsoft office).
