We’re looking for a Office Administrator to join our Operations team and support the organisation to deliver transformative laser communications technology. You will be responsible for working as part of the Operations team to support effective day-to-day running of our facilities and operational processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

Office Management

  • Assist the Office Manager to maintain the smooth running of the office facilities
  • Manage company enquiries by phone call and email
  • Maintain filing systems
  • Provide procurement support
  • Provide general support to create a safe, enjoyable and productive office environment

Recruitment support

  • Manage candidates through the recruitment process using our Applicant Tracking System
  • Conduct recruitment screenings of candidates
  • Support the onboarding of new candidates

Travel and Events

  • Arrange business travel logistics
  • Organise team events

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an office administration, administrative assistant, or similar role
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional telephone manner

Desirable additional skills:

  • Qualified first aider - training can be provided if necessary
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in a start-up environment
  • Experience coordinating meetings, travel, or events
  • Knowledge of health & safety or office compliance procedures

Location: Our office is based in Osney Mead, Oxford.
