Job summary

A leading bespoke furniture manufacturer in Ballymena seeks an Office Admin to provide administrative support to the Operations Manager and assist the office team. Responsibilities include operating a procurement system, dealing with suppliers, and various admin tasks. Full training is provided for candidates without experience. The position offers 40 weekly hours on a permanent contract.

Qualifications

  • Experience is not essential as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Admin support to Operations Manager plus all other team members when requested.
  • Operating a procurement system to order, process, monitor & track purchases.
  • Admin duties such as typing up quotations, answering phones & filing.
  • Dealing with & responding to emails.
  • Dealing with suppliers, contractors, architects both on the phone, via email & in person.
  • Maintaining filing systems within the office.

Skills

Understanding of IT systems such as Office 365
Experience of MS Excel
Experience of MS Outlook

Due to increased workload, we require an Office Admin person. We are looking for an individual to join our admin team, in a busy, fast-paced, bespoke furniture manufacturer in Ballymena.The applicant will assist in providing administrative support to the Operations Manager, as well as the daily running of the office.

Responsibilities
  • Admin support to Operations Manager plus all other team members when requested.
  • Operating a procurement system to order, process, monitor & track purchases.
  • Admin duties such as typing up quotations, answering phones & filing.
  • Dealing with & responding to emails.
  • Dealing with suppliers, contractors, architects both on the phone, via email & in person.
  • Dealing with delivery dockets; marking off system, chasing shortages and filing.
  • Maintaining filing systems within the office.
  • Any other admin duties which may arise.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Understanding of IT systems such as Office 365.
  • Experience in not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Experience of MS Excel & MS Outlook.
