Senior Quality Manager (Children and Young People)

Location : Remote (with travel – ideally based within 1 hour of Eastleigh, Hampshire)

Salary : £42, – £47, per annum

Contract : Permanent, Full Time

About the Role

Defour Partnership are proud to be working in collaboration with a leading UK social care provider to recruit a Senior Quality Manager (Children and Young People’s Services).

This is a unique opportunity for a passionate and experienced quality professional to lead change, drive improvement, and make a real impact on the lives of children and young people.

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the organisation’s quality strategy, ensuring services consistently achieve excellence and provide the very best outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic quality planning and performance across children and young people’s services.
  • Drive continuous improvement through robust quality assurance and risk management.
  • Champion best practice, innovation, and regulatory excellence.
  • Support service mobilisation, transformation, and post-inspection improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with regulators, local authorities, and sector partners.
  • Coach and mentor operational leaders to deliver outstanding outcomes.
About You
  • Significant experience within children and young people’s residential care.
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and the Children Act.
  • Proven leadership experience in quality, compliance, and service transformation.
  • Skilled in data analysis, audit, and regulatory reporting.
  • A collaborative leader who can inspire and influence across multi-site services.
  • Health or social care qualification desirable, but not essential.
  • Must have experience working with Ofsted and CAMHS.
