Job summary

JEM Childcare Solutions Limited in Catford is seeking a very experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the setting, support occupancy growth and lead the team to deliver outstanding practice.

You will have prior setting management experience, including guiding Ofsted inspections, a strong EYFS focus, safeguarding and budget responsibility. The role is based on 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Level 3+ Early Years / Childcare qualification.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in early years, including 2 years in management.
• Experience leading or supporting Ofsted inspections.
• Strong EYFS, safeguarding and health & safety knowledge.
• Experience managing nursery occupancy and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the nursery setting and lead the team to support high occupancy.
• Drive occupancy growth and ensure high-quality care and learning.

This fantastic Nursery in Catford is looking for a very experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the setting, support the growth in occupancy and team, together with supporting best practice. The role will require you to have managed previous settings, together with having taken a setting through an Ofsted Inspection in the management role. Based on 40 hrs a week salary is c£55k depending on experience.

Requirements

Essential for the Nursery Manager Role

• Level 3 or above Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant)
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in early years, including 2 years’ in amanagement or team-leading role
• Experience leading or supporting Ofsted inspections
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety practices
• Experience managing nursery teams, occupancy, and budgets
• Deliver high-quality care and learning while ensuring compliancewith statutory requirements
