Job summary

JEM Childcare Solutions Limited in Catford, London, is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a busy nursery, guiding staff, driving occupancy growth, and ensuring high standards of care and learning in line with Ofsted expectations.

The ideal candidate will hold Level 3 Early Years or higher, have at least 4 years in early years with 2 in management, and be confident in safeguarding, EYFS, and budgets. Salary ranges around £50k–£55k depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Level 3+ Early Years / Childcare qualification required.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in early years, with at least 2 years in a management or team-leading role.
• Experience leading or supporting Ofsted inspections.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety practices.
• Experience managing nursery teams, occupancy, and budgets.
• Deliver high-quality care and learning while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

About our Clients

This fantastic Nursery in Catford is looking for a very experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the setting, support the growth in occupancy and team, together with supporting best practice. The role will require you to have managed previous settings, together with having taken a setting through an Ofsted Inspection in the management role. Based on 40 hrs a week salary is c£55k depending on experience.
