Job summary

JEM Childcare Solutions in Calne, Wiltshire, is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a well-established setting, driving high standards of care and education across a 40-hour week.

You will manage staff, occupancy, and budgets, support Ofsted inspections, and ensure compliance with EYFS and safeguarding. A level 3+ Early Years qualification and 4+ years in the sector, including 2 in leadership, are required. A £1,000 joining bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or above in Early Years/Childcare
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in early years, with 2 in a leadership role
• Experience leading or supporting Ofsted inspections
• Strong EYFS, safeguarding and health & safety knowledge
• Experience managing nursery teams, occupancy and budgets
• Deliver high-quality care and learning while ensuring statutory compliance

About our Clients

Our client, a well-established nursery setting, based in Calne, South of Swindon, is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to lead and support the setting, ensuring high standards of care and education. Working a 40 hr week, salary is c£38k with bonuses. Our client is looking ideally for a manager or deputy manager who has experience of managing a nursery. A £1000 joining bonus is also offered.

Essential for the Nursery Manager Role

• Level 3 or above Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant)
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in early years, including 2 years’ in a management or team-leading role
• Experience leading or supporting Ofsted inspections
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety practices
• Experience managing nursery teams, occupancy, and budgets
• Deliver high-quality care and learning while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
