Job summary

JEM Childcare Solutions is seeking a Nursery Manager for a well-established nursery in Cricklewood, NW2. You will lead and support the setting, ensuring high standards of care and education. An experienced Nursery Manager is required; a Montessori qualification is ideal but not essential.

Working 40 hours over 5 days, the role offers salary up to £45k with good benefits and easy transport links. This position requires EYFS knowledge, safeguarding, and strong leadership to drive outcomes and

Qualifications

• Level 3 or above Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant).
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in early years, including 2 years in a management or team-leading role.
• Experience leading or supporting Ofsted inspections.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and health & safety practices.
• Experience managing nursery teams, occupancy and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the nursery setting to ensure high standards of care and education.
• Oversee operations, occupancy and budgets while maintaining quality.
• Prepare for Ofsted inspections and support staff throughout the process.
• Promote safeguarding and health & safety across the setting.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and staff.
