Job summary

JEM Childcare Solutions in Thornton Heath, Croydon, is seeking a Nursery Manager for a packaway nursery. The role covers leadership of staff, occupancy growth, and ensuring high standards of care within EYFS guidelines.

Salary around £38k with a 40-hour week and 22 days annual leave, plus pension and perks. The ideal candidate will have Level 3 Early Years, at least 4 years in the sector including management, strong safeguarding knowledge, and experience with Ofsted inspections to drive

Qualifications

• Level 3 or above Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant).
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in early years, including 2 years’ in a management or team-leading role.
• Experience leading or supporting Ofsted inspections.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety practices.
• Experience managing nursery teams, occupancy, and budgets.
• Deliver high-quality care and learning while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Our client, in Thornton Heath are looking for a manager for their Nursery, This is a packaway Nursery and our client is looking for a manager or an experienced Deputy Manager to move the nursery forward and grow the occupancy. Based on 40 hr week, salary is c£38k depending on experience, with xmas closure and 22 days annual leave. On good transport links.
