Job summary

Flow Recruitment is helping a Bolton nursery recruit a Deputy Nursery Manager. You will support the EYFS implementation, oversee planning and records, and foster strong partnerships with parents, carers and local authorities. You’ll help manage staff, meet safeguarding standards, and contribute to the nursery’s growth in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 in childcare and education or equivalent qualification.
• Experience leading a room or team in a nursery setting.
• First Aid certified with EYFS safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support EYFS implementation and daily planning.
• Oversee planning and record-keeping in the nursery.
• Promote partnerships with parents and carers.
• Develop relationships with local authorities and agencies.
• Stay updated on childcare policy developments and assist with nursery accounts.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a childcare and education qualification equivalent to NVQ level 3
• along with previous experience managing a room or team within a nursery setting
• While a formal management qualification is desirable, it is not essential
• A current First Aid qualification, a sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and thorough knowledge of safeguarding procedures are required
