Flow Sports Personnel Ltd is partnering with a high-quality childcare provider to recruit a Deputy Nursery Manager. You will lead a nursery team, support EYFS implementation, and foster strong partnerships with parents and carers in a warm, celebratory environment.

The role requires nursery management experience, safeguarding knowledge, and a current First Aid qualification, with opportunities for professional development and a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 in childcare/education or equivalent.
• Experience managing a room or team in a nursery setting.
• Management qualification desirable but not essential.
• Current First Aid qualification.
• Solid understanding of EYFS and safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the EYFS.
• Oversee planning and record-keeping.
• Promote partnerships with parents and carers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Stay updated with developments in childcare policies.
• Assist with nursery accounts.
• Prepare for staff and parent meetings.

Qualifications

• childcare and education qualification equivalent to NVQ level 3
• previous experience managing a room or team within a nursery setting
• formally a management qualification is desirable but not essential
• current First Aid qualification
• sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
