Job summary

Flow Recruitment is seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager to join a client renowned for high-quality childcare. This role offers a warm, supportive atmosphere with opportunities to impact children's development and staff growth.

You will support EYFS rollout, oversee planning/records, and build strong partnerships with families, local authorities, and agencies while helping manage nursery finances and meetings.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in childcare and education or equivalent.
• Current First Aid qualification is required.
• Solid understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Thorough knowledge of safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the EYFS.
• Oversee planning and record-keeping.
• Promote partnerships with parents and carers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Stay updated with childcare policies.
• Assist with nursery accounts.

Qualifications

• Childcare and education qualification equivalent to NVQ level 3
• Previous experience managing a room or team within a nursery setting
• Current First Aid qualification
• Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Thorough knowledge of safeguarding procedures

While a formal management qualification is desirable, it is not essential.
