A childcare service provider in Basingstoke is seeking a Deputy Manager to lead nursery staff and ensure high standards of early childhood education. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and experience in nursery management. Responsibilities include team leadership, compliance, and facilitating inspections. We are seeking a dedicated and committed Deputy Manager to join our Nursery team in Basingstoke. You will be providing exceptional care and early childhood education to all the children in our nursery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children aged 0‑5 years old, be used to leading a team of nursery practitioners, room leader, and team leaders to ensuring the safety, development, and well‑being of the children in the nursery is the priority at all times. The role would suit someone who has previously worked as a Room Leader or Third in charge and looking for the next step up or is currently working as a Deputy Manager at a setting. The role will also involve stepping in for the nursery manager in their absence.
YOU MUST HOLD A LEVEL 3 OR ABOVE QUALIFICATION IN CHILDCARE / EARLY YEARS OR EQUIVILANT FOR THIS ROLE.
