A prominent healthcare institution in Newcastle is looking for a full-time Clinical Nurse Specialist in Gynaecology. The role requires extensive knowledge and experience in Gynaecology, working autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Responsibilities include nurse-led clinics, managing a patient caseload, database management, and providing emotional support to patients. Requirements include a current NMC registration and a degree in a health-related subject. Excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.

We are excited to offer the opportunity of a full-time Secondment for a Clinical Nurse Specialist, within the Complex Termination of Pregnancy and Specialist Placement Team, working within Women's Services as part of the Gynaecology team.
The role will require the post holder to have extensive knowledge and experience of Gynaecology, with specific knowledge and experience of Termination of Pregnancy being an advantage. The role will involve nurse‑led clinics, supporting consultant‑led clinics, managing a caseload of patients, database management, patient education and support; and attending and presenting at multi‑disciplinary team meetings. A range of clinical skills will be required, appropriate to care for this group of patients. You will be expected to be able to work autonomously but also be working as part of a well‑established multi‑disciplinary team. Excellent communication and counselling skills are essential. You will be expected to be able to use I.T systems for the management of nurse‑led clinics and caseload management.
