M&S is recruiting a Security Officer via Mitie to help create a safe, welcoming environment for customers and colleagues across multiple Dundee, St Andrews and surrounding locations. The role emphasizes calm, professional conduct, strong customer service and proactive incident response in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will be a visible presence in-store, assist customers, prevent loss and operate store tech.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience preferred.
• Valid SIA licence desirable, although not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A calm, confident and professional approach.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to make sound decisions quickly.

Responsabilités

• Provide a visible security presence in store to assist customers and colleagues.
• Prevent loss and respond to incidents, identifying risks and supporting safe ways of working.
• Use store technology, including mobile reporting systems and body-worn cameras, to support operations and incident management.
• Stay calm under pressure and act professionally in challenging situations.
• Work closely with store colleagues to maintain high standards and a positive environment.
• Support operations and adapt to changing store needs on a day-to-day basis.

Location: M&S Dundee , M&S Dundee Gallagher, M&S Dundee The Docks, M&S Broughty Ferry, M&S St Andrews, M&S Perth and surrounding areas.

Salary - £16.50 per hour

Candidate must have own transport & be able to cover the advised locations

What we're looking for
