Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Retail Security Officer for M&S locations across Dundee and surrounding areas. You will help create a safe, welcoming environment for customers and colleagues, while protecting people, stores and stock.

Join a fast-paced retail team, stay calm under pressure, and use digital reporting tools and body-worn cameras to support incident management. Previous security experience is preferred and an SIA licence is desirable.

Retail Security Officer –M&S

Location: M&S Dundee , M&S Dundee Gallagher, M&S Dundee The Docks, M&S Broughty Ferry, M&S St Andrews, M&S Perth and surrounding areas.

Salary - £16.50 per hour

Candidate must have own transport & be able to cover the advised locations

Join M&S as a Security Officer, where you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming and secure environment for our customers and colleagues.

We're looking for confident, customer-focused individuals who can combine strong awareness with a warm and approachable attitude. You'll be a visible presence in store, helping customers feel supported while playing an important role in keeping the business safe and secure.

• Being digitally confident is essential. You'll use store technology, including mobile reporting systems and body-worn cameras, to support store operations and incident management.
• You'll stay calm under pressure. Whether responding to challenging situations or supporting emergency procedures, you'll always act professionally and confidently.
• Being a team player is crucial. You'll work closely with store colleagues to maintain high standards, support operations and create a positive environment for everyone.
• Flexibility is vital. Retail moves fast and every day is different. You'll adapt quickly to changing situations to support the store when needed.

What we're looking for
