Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Retail Support Security Officer for M&S stores across Edinburgh and surrounding areas. The role focuses on creating a safe, welcoming environment while protecting customers, colleagues, and products.

You will work in a fast-paced retail setting, staying calm under pressure and delivering professional service. Strong communication, a proactive mindset and a genuine passion for keeping people safe are essential.

Retail Support Security Officer –M&S

Location: Edinburgh - Edinburgh Morningside - Edinburgh Craigleith - Edinburgh Chesser Ave - Edinburgh Kinnaird - Edinburgh Gyle - And surrounding areas

Salary - £16.50 per hour

The officer must have access to a car due to the store locations

• You'll stay calm under pressure. Whether responding to challenging situations or supporting emergency procedures, you'll always act professionally and confidently.
• Being a team player is crucial. You'll work closely with store colleagues to maintain high standards, support operations and create a positive environment for everyone.
• Flexibility is vital. Retail moves fast and every day is different. You'll adapt quickly to changing situations to support the store when needed.
