Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and drive solutions, working closely with technical experts to make a significant impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical work to keep the nation's infrastructure connected and protected 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution in line with procedures and KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:

• Handle incoming calls and emails, responding according to KPIs.
• Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
• Action Service Requests.
• Allocate/despatch tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
• Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
• Coordinate traffic management, liaising with providers, control teams, and field resources.
• Communicate with customers about network incidents.
• Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.

Who you are:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Good communication skills for liaising at all levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
