Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and drive solutions, working closely with technical experts who are proud of their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical infrastructure that keeps the nation's networks connected and protected 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution in line with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:

• Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
• Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
• Action Service Requests.
• Allocate and dispatch tickets to support and engineering teams, and other providers.
• Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
• Coordinate traffic management with providers, control teams, and field resources.
• Communicate with customers about incidents.
• Liaise with utility companies regarding power issues affecting the network.

Who you are:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Good communication skills, able to liaise with people at all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
