Job Description:

Join Telent's Engineering Team to innovate and drive solutions, working closely with technical experts to make a significant impact. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex, critical infrastructure that keeps the nation's networks connected and protected 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution according to procedures and meeting contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:
  1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  3. Action Service Requests.
  4. Allocate and dispatch tickets to support and engineering teams, and other service providers.
  5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  6. Coordinate traffic management with providers, control teams, and field resources.
  7. Communicate with customers about network incidents.
  8. Collaborate with utility companies during power-related network issues.
Candidate Profile:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising at all seniority levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
