Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical infrastructure that keeps the nation connected and protected 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will support the NOC engineering team by managing incident resolution, working within a 24/7 shift rota.

Responsibilities:
  1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding according to KPIs.
  2. Create incident tickets from customer reports.
  3. Action Service Requests.
  4. Assign tickets to support and engineering teams.
  5. Manage incident tickets with updates.
  6. Coordinate traffic management activities.
  7. Communicate incident updates to customers.
  8. Coordinate with utility companies regarding power issues.
Qualifications:

Experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably in a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
