Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions that impact critical national infrastructure. As a NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician, you'll provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution according to procedures and contractual KPIs. The role operates on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:

1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
2. Create network incident tickets based on customer reports.
3. Action Service Requests.
4. Allocate/despatch tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
6. Coordinate traffic management, liaising with providers, control teams, and field resources.
7. Communicate with customers regarding network incidents.
8. Coordinate with utility companies during power-related network issues.

Candidate Profile:

Experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with all levels of seniority.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office packages.
